Local MusicPost upcoming events/news/activities along the gulf coast here. Make some friends, go see a show and tell us what it was like. Pictures of bands/shows are encouraged.
I had fun; that's a really good sounding room and the stage sounded better than most. Very nice. We learned a lot about what works for this kind of show. Now we just have to figure out how to reach more people. Not through radio, obviously...
I guess we'll let the whole costume idea go too, it's probably too hot for that this time of year anyway.
that's a cool room, I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to play there.
ah, that would be cool if you can make it.
I dig your style, the non-flash approach is definitely superior. You got some good shots at Nate's, I thought. It's tricky in those brick-wall/neon-sign/Bud-poster festooned venues.
I'm hoping we can cover over some of that crap with our projection screen next time.
I think Top of the Bay is pretty much just a brick wall background, which is definitely not my fav, but maybe we'll rig up a screen to cover that too- we'll see.
The MOC is a great place for photo ops; I wish we'd staged ourselves a little better there.
maybe next time...
I really enjoyed the first set. I wish we could have stayed longer but Ashley wasn't feeling well. I had talked so much about you guys she wanted to come see the first set just to see what you guys were about. She loved it.
