we're pretty much ready, just trying to find venues- none of the places we used to work are around anymore. I ditched the E-drums- using acoustics now, & we're looking for rooms with their own PA, but those are hard to come by on the Coast.


yep. Around the same time we started our hiatus to record, so that timed out pretty well.

I'm in Mobile and have plenty of PA.

We've got a pretty healthy PA, but we're looking to find ways of gigging without having to haul it as much, or at all. The last few out-of-state shows we've done, we used house PAs that were sufficient; I just don't know if there are any such rooms around here that would book us.
I don't think we're really what Monsoon's/Grand Central/Soul Kitchen is looking for

I think if we do try to host a few civic center shows we'll probably have to use our own (and perhaps find someone to run it) but we've hauled SO much gear for the past few years that we've decided to try to scale things down where possible.

Yeah, I live in Mobile but I haven't played in town in a year for the same reasons. I'm about ready to rent a cow-pasture, stand it up, turn all the knobs to the right, duct tape them down and charge $10 a carload.
