Blues Challenge for the young'uns.

In sincere memory and honor of the legendary blues bassist, Joe Turner,Mrs. Turner, The Shed BBQ coupled with the village of Chedigny, France would like to invite all young musicians, ages 8-18(enrolled in school grades 1-12)to participate in an exciting Blues Challenge.

Before Mr. Turner's death he expressed his desire to help the young musicians of the Ms. Gulf Coast "carry on the blues" by hosting a Blues Challenge to select a three to four piece band to play at his yearly "Blues In Chedigny" festival held in Chedigny, France. We will do our best to fulfill his dream.

Applications and more info can be found at local area music stores, schools, churches etc.

Oh yeah, one prize awarded. Roundtrip flight, room and board for up to four band members and one adult chaperone. Band will open "Blues In Chdigny" festival. Cool, huh?
