CLYDE HOLLY help

I got an email from Dr. Bob just a few minutes ago. I should've probably posted this in the lounge, but I figured it pertains to local music so.....the message was to this effect:

I took Clyde's Widow to pick out a headstone today. A modest stone
with nice engraving is $700 Sooooooooo........I'm taking up a
collection amoungst his friends for anything anyone may care to
donate. Could you help me spread the word around the music community.
I'll collect the $ and turn it over to her. If anyone needs to contact
me, have them call the me here at the station. 604-ROCK

Thought this would be as good a place as any to hit most of the coast music people who might wanna read it. I don't have any info, so there's no need to reply to this...I just told him I'd post it for him.

i never had the chance to meet clyde; but from all the nice things that you and alex have said about him makes me kinda think that i did.....put me down for $20 and i'll pay you back next week when you're up here, or i can mail it where ever you'd like. either way is fine with me.

You all need to take it down to Bob at the station. The number is 604-ROCK or 1-888-304-ROCK. He works 7-Midnight. Call him up and he'll tell you when the best time would be. I'm sure Clyde's wife is going to REALLY appreciate the help. I'm sure you could send your donation to:

I'm helping spread the word because Clyde deserves to have a headstone. But, I really don't want to handle anybody else's $$.

Thanks Darlin. Very cool of you. I'm going to talk to Bob and find out who to make checks out to...but in the meantime, I'm sure checks can be made out to him (Bob McCall.) He's helping Clyde's wife w/everything and he'll make sure she gets it ASAP.

Ok. I talked to Bob and found out the best way for you to help:

Make checks payable to the Clyde "Holly" Holloman Memorial Fund.
Cash or check donations can be made at any Hancock Bank location Coast wide.

And so you guys know, you can mail in a payment if you don't feel like going down to the bank.
