Local MusicPost upcoming events/news/activities along the gulf coast here. Make some friends, go see a show and tell us what it was like. Pictures of bands/shows are encouraged.
August second I'm gonna roll into Thunders Tavern and do a full blown no-holds-bared buzzincuzzin put-the-cunt-back-in-country-and-the-dick-in-Dixie SHOW set to the rockers in Mississippi for the sole purpose of enjoying an evening of decadent debauchery(we'll re-bauch later). I'M TAKING TOTAL CUERVO BOTTLE DOMANATION!!!!!!!! Them's my bragg's, take your best shots.
You obliviously never heard about my show. Marc asked me to open for HIS birthday at Thunders. There is probably a clue in there somewhere. Hell I may even be in ManDown's top 10 favorite country acts list. Come see for yourself and decide if I am "pop" or HAVE "pop". BTW,,,,,,,,,,, don't ask Ko-lija, they drink.
LOL,,,,,,, I've been using that line for 30-plus years and III got famous for it. I've never met him but, we have more than a few mutual acquaintances. If you come drink with me maybe we can add to the list.
we will be playin that night or I would definately be there. I have met III several times. He is one of the coolest people I have met. He literally tours old school, just his band and a bus. Notthing fancy or no crew. Alot of people think because of who he is he probably has tonsof money. I can tell you for certain he doesn't. He tours because he loves it. Him and his father have little or no contact. I have thought about for years about trying to put a band together sort of like his style with a stand up bass player. I couldn't find anyone into that whole style of country music like I am. Joe Buck's new CD is really cool. Check it out if you get the chance. Also, check out - Those Poor Bastards.
