It has been my experience with the smaller shithole type bars that they will laugh when you ask them to sign a contract. Most other bands dont' use them in there either. The bar owner will think youre' trying to fuck him out of money, and will just book another band that doesnt' want him to sign anything.

I hope you are successful in doing it though.

Skeeter's is actually (despite it's decieving name) a really big place. like a Thunder's tavern minus the outside stuff.
And it's definately nicer than Thunder's. 24 or 25 pool tables, I think.

But usually we aren't playing the fucking house of blues (or wherever), so I don't use them(contracts) to begin with.
Besides, most of the places we play we have a good relationship with.

This is actually the first place to "screw us". If they want us back, we'll have them sign something or we won't play. It's that simple. I can't lose $ on two shows, it's just bad business.

Feh. You could say that. They asked me to take a three month leave. They said I also had to go to anger management classes and I wouldn't be allowed back unless I did. I told them to suck it.
