I plan on making money to support my band habbit.
If we get to the point where we can make a living I will definatley play for a living.

eh - I don't want to have to do it for a living. I enjoy playing, and I don't want it to become work.

It would be nice to do it full time. But then again there are people who wish they could make a living playing video games all day too.

I feel you about not wanting it to become work, but if you have to work it's not a bad gig. Doing something that you love takes alot of the "work" out of it as well. But, alas! I ,too,still work for my band habit.

You can also make it your career without "making it". Look at Isis, Rain, and all of those casino bands. They are making a confortable living, probably $50k/yr & up, without being rock stars.
