i'm currently booking my summer recording projects; and have been getting more and more people from the coast inquiring about recording. sweet!

i thought i'd take a minute and fill you in on some things that i've been offering the independent artists as of late...i think you'll dig them:

besides doing full tilt in-studio EP's and full lengths, i also do a lot of tracking (drums, bass, electric guitars) for bands that have their own recording setups. i typically track to 2" analog tape, and transfer to .wav files (via high end converters) -at no extra charge- so you can load the tracks into your DAW and continue the project at home.

also, i've been doing several "let's go make a record somewhere besides in a studio" recordings, where i pack up my gear (www.chrismara.com/gearlist.html) and head to an interesting and vibey location to record. this works great for the more acoustic-based artists, and provides a high quality, high vibe way to record- that's affordable!
