Rep Power: 31 | | | Rise Down Shows Hey guys! Gonna try to keep you posted on a new band here along the coast called RISE DOWN. They're alot of fun and nice to look at. They play mostly covers for now (originals in progress) and put on a great show. The members are: lead singer and rhythm guitar Ryan Pique, lead guitar Ron Yates, bass guitar James Coleman(they're hoping to keep him on for good but he may be only temporary),and on drums, Mike Batia.
They've got a show tonight at Thunder's in Pascagoula at 10. Then they play at Reno's Sport's Bar in D'Iberville on Saturday night at 10 also. Hope to see lots of you there!

Rep Power: 56 | | | Basically if you didn't look at the stage and only listened, you would swear they copied the old Split 6 set lists. It's very close. They even have all the girls that stay at the front of the stage. They need more practice but I think they will be a good cover band around these parts. They also need to get the bass player to learn more songs. |

Trust me, i've played over 100 different covers in various bands. So learning songs is not an issue for me. I don't know the history of the band and previous bands, but none of these members were ever in Split 6. To be honest, the three piece band (Sling) I was in prior to this one could take on Split 6 anytime, anywhere.
I have never heard of Down to None, I think you're talking about No Way Out. |

Rep Power: 56 | | | I mean Rise Down sounds just like Split 6. The set lists were the same. I wasn't complaining. |

I have never heard of Down to None, I think you're talking about No Way Out. | You must be one of the most insecure people ever. I don't know why you feel the need to bash split 6. We were a band that worked hard to have fun and play good shows. It's easy to sit behind a keyboard and be big and bad about how great you are Are you a guitarist? I would love to sit down and trade licks with you. As for taking us on anytime anywhere; I seem to recall Fowler inviting you to several shows, but I don't recall having ever met you. It doesn't say much for you or your band to knock another band just to cover your own inadequacies. At any rate, I hope you guys have good shows and get the level of notoriety that we had. | | |
