Why bash Split 6? It wasn't THE BEST band on the coast. They gave their fans a great show, and they had fun. I always had fun the short time I played with them.

Anytime!

Truth is, on here i am an asshole. I don't know when to keep my mouth shut. As for sling, we played over at almost every venue on the coast that was open at the time 2002-2002. I'm not knocking your band. You were good, it's just that when Marc says when we get more practice under our belt, we will be like Split 6. Kinda like your band was the high point to compare to other bands. I was just saying that the old band i was in was as good. It came out like a challenge. I'm not challenging you in any way. Risedown contacted me to fill in as a temporary bassist because my job has me traveling 30-50% of the year. Just as fowler has invited me to many shows, i was probably in another state or country. And Fowler, you're invited to any of our shows. Maybe you can sit in and play bass and sing mustang sally. But i don't think you can accomplish what you stated in your post.  |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Well, since yall brought it up! This is just one of the problems that I see here on the coast with the music scene. And that is animosity and division between bands here on the coast. It seems to always be one big pissing match. This erks me to no end. I would like to think that we all are working towards the same goal. To succeed with our music, whether its making it big or just putting on a good show for your fans and having a good time. To be able to share our artistic expression. I dont think that everyone realizes how this type of behavior just hurts what little bit of a music scene that we do have. If anyone would like to help me elaborate on this please do so. Maybe its just the way things are and the way they are going to be. With that said..... Left Broken would like to take a step in a positive direction with an open invitation, i dont care what kind of music you play, if you would like to do a show together, let me know and we will make it happen!!! |
