| Had another fantastic weekend at the Martini Bar. Friday night was a blast with a packed house- our guest bass player Steve got up with Guy, Pat and Drew (the bartender) and jammed on some killer tunes, including Blood Sugar Sex Magic, Suck My Kiss (RHCP), Once (Pearl Jam), YYZ (Rush), and Jerry Was a Race Car Driver (Primus). Steve's 2 handed tapping on the Primus tune was mind blowing! We found out that the bar grossed one of their best nights ever on Friday - as much as they made with CTE on New Year's. Ahhhh- job security!
Saturday the groove was especially sweet, with everything feeling 'just right', from the time we kicked off with the Allman Bros. Ain't Wastin Time No More until Pat gave his drums the Keith Moon-knock-the-entire-drumset-over treatment on Baba O'Riley.
