Local MusicPost upcoming events/news/activities along the gulf coast here. Make some friends, go see a show and tell us what it was like. Pictures of bands/shows are encouraged.
Whooo-hoo! Will be great to see ya'll this weekend!
We rehearsed again last night - couple more songs in the works. And sorry, Paula, I can't tell you what the songs are before we play them - it will ruin the surprise! I might post them on here on Saturday. Hint: Lofton gets to sit on his ass for three minutes and twenty five seconds.
Makes sense. A friend that I made listen to your cd said he thought that Lofton had a voice that went best with blues and blues-y type music and James Brown type stuff, too.
I'd have to hear it though - after Bottomline's version of "Sex Machine" I haven't quite heard a match for Trent's voice on that one just yet.
Thanks for coming out, at least for a little while, Lisa!
Paula........you have a strange imagination.........one of your endearing qualities!
This weekend, we're off to the delta. Clarksdale in particular. Friday night at River's Edge, Saturday at the Hopson Commissary. After that, get ready to rock in the New Year - Friday and Saturday Dec 30/31st at the Blvd Martini Bar!
