I suggest going to Henry's Too (or II, whichever it is) in D'Iberville. They're packed on karaoke night and do some of the best Hank Williams, Jr. I've ever heard in my life.

In California, there's been no smoking in bars there for about 10 years now. Gulfport just passed a no-smoking law, I'm not sure if bars are affected though.

It will happen one day; the approach they take is that it's a dangerous work environment for the workers. I bet within 10 years it'll basically be banned nationwide, except maybe in the Carolinas and Virginia where they grow it.

Heck, Hattiesburg banned smoking in all public businesses INCLUDING bars, and that's a college town! They say it really hasn't affected business much either, though I'm sure people go outside to smoke a lot.

So you actually wouldn't have to move to California, just book all your shows in Hattiesburg!
