Rep Power: 33  | Hey guys. Looks like there may be a group of poets coming out to read during the breaks this week. I forgot to mention earlier that while the point of Songwriters Night is music, writers who want to come out and read are welcome too...although spoken word will admittedly take a backseat to music. This week should be pretty interesting.

Rep Power: 34 | we had congas and a stand-up bass last Thursday, but we showed up a little late. I wouldn't have mindd jammin' with Coustafunk (spelling). I would have held down a little back-up vocals and congas. maybe next time. |

It's not that the crowd doesn't matter, because the way I run the show does have something to do with the crowd's reaction to things...but don't worry about that so much...crowds are fickle and the people that make them up change regularly...just show up and do what you do. *****And by the way, I read some of your poems and I like them....and this post this reply wasn't specifically directed at you...the sentiment of your comment was just something I meant to address to begin with...

Rep Power: 33 | Take I-10 west to EXIT 50 (head south) Now you're on Washinton Ave. Hop in the right lane when you can & follow the road all the road all the way to Fort Bayou bridge (the only bridge) Put your right blinker on at the top of the bridge as you'll be taking your IMMEDIATE right at the foot....directly into the Aunt Jenny's parking lot. The Julep Room is in the cellar...the entrance is on the north side of the building. 1217 Washington Ave. Ocean Springs, MS 39564
