Heather and I are going to visit my brother in baton rouge fri.
Heather hasn't been to n.o. since she was a child.
We will visit bourbon st, and the french quarter, maybe we'll have time to see more.
It will be a blast.

We aren't leaving for N.O. till Sat.
My brother, and his wife are getting ready to leave for Key West Monday!
Wish we were going with them...Maybe next year.

Lisa has a big fallowing anywhere she's ever sang. I remember the first time I heard her and how long I tried to hire her. Regretably she thinks I'm racist because I refuse to soften my comedy even though I've been on wblx, wdlt and do package shows with HUGGYBEAR DA POET. Anybody heard HIM???????

Lisa and I have been friends for several years.
She is a sweetheart and a damned good vocalist.
She and i had been talking about getting a group together for a couple years, then a ready made one fell in our lap. Off to the races.

I have heard of Huggy Bear..
He is at The Whiskey Fri nite I think.
He is funny as hell.

what a gig. the new orleans area is still a great place to play.
back in the day playing new orleans, you had to tot all your sound equipment...today $10,000 house system, and playing 4 hours for TIPS!!!!!
Two bands
one 4-8, second 9-till?
I think the headliner has a guarantee?

The swanky hotel we were at was a thief in disguise.
Tourist traps galore, everybody wants f'n money.
If I was rich I would have gave each something.
I actually gave money to a guy out side a drug store without any legs.
A few dollar here and there for the bands, live statues, and tap boys.
Had our beignets, and cafe at cafe du mond did the tourist thang rode the buggy, trolley...blah blah, ate at house of blues, hard rock... the home of the $12 hardees big n thick hamburger, and $2 t shirt for $25....what a deal huh? LOL
It was alot of fun and I will do it again. Do the tourist thang...play Katz, and other venues.
They wanted us back july 4th but we were already booked.

For the next 3 weeks we'll be at the Miss-a-bama hwy 90 w moss point.
