Updated Venues List, please contribute!

Has there been a updated list of gulf coast venues recently?

Mobile
Bojangles
Soul kitchen - (mostly regional/national acts)
Monsoons - (mostly regional acts - occasional local act)
The Blind mule - primarily original.
Grand Central - all local/regional cover/original bands.
Paddy O'tooles - local cover bands, low pay
There are more I'll post more when I get my to my little black book.

Theodore-
Fowl River
Pelican Reef - Blues/classic rock

dauphin island- the oar house

Fairhope/daphne
Top of the bay - cover/original
Bayhouse pub - cover
Ravenite - cover/original
Junkyard - country/classic rock
Blue gill - cover/original

I'm looking for a contact at Rosie O'Grady's in p-cola.
I have contacts for the swamp, and lavela, and a few hole in the wall joints in Panama City Bch.
I'll post them tomorrow if any one wants to pursue them.

In my hazy flu stupor I made the poor decision to update my venue contacts sheet yesterday and I ended up really depressed.

only thing I found of any interest was this list of NOLA and surrounding areas:

Satori Sound
The BLind Mule

they handle a lot of the indie stuff, mostly. I think the BLind Mule is pretty much filling the gap the Cellblock left...

In Pensacola, the Gutter Lounge is one of the nicer rooms and bigger stages.
Sluggos gets some good shows, but it's kinda small

I had to delete a BUNCH of cool places from it yesterday...
:-(

we're thinking about trying to do some shows at civic centers or something eventually. not sure if it'd work well, but there's got to be some way to do it other than bars.
