Rep Power: 25 ![]() | Who. what, where???????? You gave the when and why but no mention of tech support. If I read this right we could afford to donate a set after that weekend for a good cause but who is handling the production? It could be really good or a nightmare. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi guys, Thank you for the responses. The event is being held at the Five Rivers Delta Resource Center (similar to a State Park), on the Causeway just past Bue Gill in Spanish Fort. We will have a PA supplied, along with a stage and 30 x 60 tent to cover the band/equipment, as well as a staging area for the bands in one of the buildings. The Center has held a variety of events before, most notably a Blues Fest last year and have a fairly standard operating procedure as far as entertainment goes. From the perspective of Drums/Amps, the plan at the moment is personal equipment. That said, if there is a better solution that would be best for all concerned, we would appreciate your advice on the matter. Sorry we didn't provide more notice, the opportunity only arose about a week ago. We have a couple of bands who have gratiously agreed to help out and are looking to provide 6 hours of entertainment. Therefore at this stage, it would be minimum 2 hour sets. However I would like to bring this down to 1.5hrs preferably (4 bands) unless there was any preference to keep them longer, in which case, we would start the entertainment earlier (12pm rather than 2pm). Advertising will start early next week, so we need to finalise all interested parties by Monday in order to ensure you are properly represented in the Marketing material and Press Releases, after which we can confirm times, set lengths and discuss any other details that would help improve the event. Kind Regards, Kristian... |

Rep Power: 25 ![]() | 30x60 is a standard concert stage size so if that's the size of the tent the stage is probably 20x20ish at most and the system about what I keep on the truck? Who is in charge of production? We'll check into this because we're playing doubles the 23rd 4th and 5th and could well afford to donate a show for the services. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | That sounds great Buzzin, it would be most appreciated if you have the time! The PA System setup has been offered by one of the bands that has already signed up to play and the overall management of the day and venue will be handled by the State Lands Manager of the Delta Center. If you can give me a call on 251 654 5609 or email me at kristian@wildnative.com I will provide you with their details and you can chat directly with them if you would like. Kind Regards, Kristian... |
