When we put on our first festival in 2001, WaveFest featured a lot of bands all day long on our stage on the beach. We had Riverbend, Kan Dee Side, Bad Medicine, Juniper Row, Curtis Loew Band and Zebra's Randy Jackson. Kept music all day long. Even the fireworks started going off at Freebird. Randy, like a trooper kept singing in the rain til 10:00

We tried to get to the beach again this year but the economy has kept certain money with long held events. WaveFest of course was comandeered by politics in 2002 and hasn't been but a street party since.
