How about bands that allude to body orifices in their names?

I am going to have to agree with you spert.I think the next cpr fest the station should just pick some local bands to play.It gives the idea that maybe cpr could put on a festival with just local bands that would be cool.

cpr seems like they're in a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of situation. if they just chose a band they liked, they'd hear from local musicians bitching about not having their shot. with the way they're doing it now they're accused of rigging the event. people need to realize that these botb's create tension, and if you can't deal with losing you shouldn't enter.
razz is right they have done all local band shows before. we did one right before katrina. they usually get an up and coming band or two to headline. these are great, and hopefully cpr will do this again in the future.

Your totally right, Alex. From what I've been reading, it was the fans of the 'Hype that were being shitty. Their fans don't have to like it, but they need to realize it wasn't an event that was won on crowd response solely. It was a judged event. You win some, you lose some. Someone's got to lose, it's a bummer, but that's part of it.
