Rep Power: 37 ![]() | Gas Range / Dishwasher If anyone needs a natural gas range, I've got a GE freestanding black/white. Good for cooking, commiting suicide, arson, etc........ it's been in one house all it's life, so it's still in pretty good shape. $175 Got a white Jenn Air dishwasher. was working good when I pulled it out a couple weeks ago. you'll just have to get your own drain hose at lowes, had to use it on my new one. $35 |

Rep Power: 37 ![]() | lol! I like gas appliances better, they save me $$ and do everything faster and better than electric. You do hear of people getting co poisioning or burning their house down with those freestanding heaters every winter though. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Yeah Mark says food tastes better from a gas stove/oven...I am just a wimp and "spoiled" as he says and grew up with electric. It has saved us a lot of $$ though!

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | Gas is way faster, My last place had gas and the cool thing was when a snow storm hit and even if you have no power you can still cook. After Katrina it was funny I had stayed in the shelter in Laurel and we took nice cold showers in the horse stables. What a humbling expirence. So when we got home my daughter wanted to take a shower and she was prepared to take a cold/slightly cold shower depending on water temp coming from Biloxi water mains. Next thing I noticed was the shower took way longer and when she opened the door lots of steam came out of the bathroom. We had a gas water heater and while no electricity we had gas. OK back to thread, gas stoves rock and Gas grills rock even more |

Rep Power: 44 ![]() | We have all electric stuff here. But my mom used to have a gas stove and free standing heater. I burned my eyebrows off lighting the heater once. I was afraid of gas anything after that. |
