Rep Power: 21 ![]() | My Carvin 412 cabinet weighs 103 lbs, and my vertical 212s weigh 50 lbs each, so I estimated based on that. If it's lighter it isn't THAT much lighter. And a 100-lb. cabinet IS a one-man lift IMO. Oh, and does the head come with a footswitch? I ask because the footsitch is $120 by itself, and I see an AVT150H head on Ebay for $499 BIN with the footswitch right now. Just wondering... Last edited by Lerxstcat; 03-14-2008 at 05:39 PM. |

I had an old Valvestate 8040 112 combo yars ago and it had a very tubelike response for a SS/hybrid amp. If bnot for the fact that it was only 40 watts and no external speaker output I would still have that amp. I find myself broke at the moment but that's a good amp and reasonable price, and the 412 cabinet is a great deal! Hope you get some quick action on them both! What's your new amp, out of curiosity? | |
