Studio for hire

Not sure where to post this so I'll make an admin happy and post in several locations.

I have a small studio in Hancock County that I am producing great demos from. Now I know my idea of great and some one else's is totally different but I have achieved as close to Radio/CD quality you can get in my situation.

Currently its in the back to bedrooms of my trailer. I however have a 20x20 building that is slowly being converted into a real studio with seperated rooms with glass and acoustically set. I am capable of 16ch simultaneous and 2 seperate headphone mixes. If anyone wants to hear some of my stuff I've done let me know I've done one semi rock group and a country band I can upload a file of two.

I'm looking for a few local bands that wouldn't mind a great quality cheap price 5 song demo.

Pricing: 5 song demo $400.00

If you want more than five songs contact me we can discuss pricing. I just want to get my name around and let people know I'm available.

This being said i do sound system work and have been for years. Got names like Bubba Sparxx, Robert Randolph, DPB, Temptations, and a few others under my belt.

Just PM Me if you are interested or email: bignoiseproductions2005@yahoo.com

and who are you? Please list your resume or experiences that would justify us driving to Hancock County (something other than random name dropping please). Guarrantee's, is there a time limit on those 5 songs? A little about your set-up. Digital, Analog, who does pressing? etc.....

Thanks

Ok No there is not a time limit on those 5 songs but there is a limit of how long you can stay in the studio per night. I have to be at my real job at 4:30am so I like so shut down atleast at 11pm.

Studio resume' is not long. No really big names I helped track, produce and mix local bands and singers at a studio owned by my partner in the sound business. Groups like The Todd Smith Band, The Foulon Brothers Band, a bunch of local singers that sing with either an acoustic guitar or CD/Tape.

My sound system resume is decent I do a lot of work as an engineer and tech for my partner he has a larger system gets the big gigs. I do medium gigs the local festivals and such. I have done the following through the years as not only my rig but others.

Bubba Sparxx (national rapper)-USM Frat Party, Hattiesburg
Robert Randolph and the Family band-Eagle Palooza, Hattiesburg
DPB (national christian rapper), Hancock County
The Temptations, Beau Rivage (pre Katrina, this was my first national experience)
Sammy Kershaw, The Bottling Company, Hattiesburg
Scum Gumbo, Mug Shots, Hattiesburg
2006 Heritage Festival (5 Stages including Charlie Pride) Hattiesburg. I was doing something at each stage at some point that entire day. My favorite act to do was the North Mississippi All Stars
and several other "national acts" but they are not big names like you hear about

For the demo's I've been doing I do in house mastering between me and my partner. If I do most of the tracking and mixing he'll master 98% of it. and vice versa. We usually wait about a week or more without listening to it before we master. I do however have contacts with other studios who can master (totally different set of ears) and one studio in particular has a contact in Nashville they send theirs off too if your are interested in going that far for the demo.

Pressing: there is a local person I deal with they do album work (or use yours) provide cases duplicate and shrink wrap. Also know an excellent photographer if you want photos.

Setup: Is Digital: I use Nuendo 3( I own 4 but i want to learn it more) Interface is a MOTU coupled with an Alesis ADAT for 16ch total Simlultaneous. Other than that the general mics, and equipment you need. Again I'll emphasis I'm just starting out on my own and I currently have it in the back to bedrooms of my trailer Which I have acheived very nice quality out of. I am wanting a band who is looking for a demo to possibly sell at gigs. Depending on the groups decision I also have contact in Mobile with a label/recording studio who you can send your demo to.

Lets do this. I am currently working on some stuff for 2 groups I play in. I'll throw up a link of pre-master mixes when we finished a couple or these tunes in the next week of so. You can hear how I do and also I'll take critques always looking to improve.

well, lumber is all about the same. Your not going to get any breaks on those quantities.
now, wire mesh, concrete.... maybe

why do you need 20' & 10' 2x8's

just get 26 2x8x20 and cut 'em

just curious.
