Rep Power: 19 ![]() | I did the same thing when they hit Biloxi before Katrina with my son, Sammy Hager was singing for them it was great, fantastic seats given to me from a girl I was dating at the time she won them from a local radio station but didn't want to go.. |

They were the kings of party rock from 1978 to 1984; you had to be there, I guess.... You would've been a little kid throughout he 80s too, I guess, but Van Halen were the prototype for lots of the big bands of the 80s, from Motley Crue to Poison to Bon Jovi and hundreds more.
