That concert was incredible and worth every penny we spent. It totally rocked to bring my son to THIS as his first concert!

I did the same thing when they hit Biloxi before Katrina with my son, Sammy Hager was singing for them it was great, fantastic seats given to me from a girl I was dating at the time she won them from a local radio station but didn't want to go..

That's because you weren't even alive yet when they hit big and were 4 years old by the time they hit their peak.

They were the kings of party rock from 1978 to 1984; you had to be there, I guess....

You would've been a little kid throughout he 80s too, I guess, but Van Halen were the prototype for lots of the big bands of the 80s, from Motley Crue to Poison to Bon Jovi and hundreds more. Either the singer tried to look and act like David Lee Roth, the guitarist tried to look and play like Eddie Van Halen, or both.
