instead of thoughts on the "scene", its more about thoughts about your nameless band....

Actually, Ko-Lija is my first band. We got together in January and gigged all year. I had a good time.
I've seen some good and bad things with bands, venues, sound guys....etc etc.
But what do I know? Just been doing this for a year (almost).

I do it for the love of the game. If it was about money, I would've quit a long time ago. I could quit right now, but I don't know how to be without a band. Who cares about the making it big part, I just want to have fun. Some people fish, I play music. Rock on.

Where have you been? There hasn't been an music on MTV in 15 years.
I agree with the money comment. I would've quit a long time ago if were about the money. Working hard and being professional has NOTHING to do with money, it has to do with PRIDE!

Everyone does it for the music and the "love" and "passion" and "good vibes" and all that(at least they should). I don't think any of us are sitting here on a message board about local bands in Mississippi because we're waiting for that deal with Warner Bros. or Geffen. While we're using cliches though, I'm going to take it one day at a time because all you need is love when you're working 9 to 5 and you have to take care of business and there's no "I" in team. That was more song titles than cliches I guess. You get the point. We don't have racist songs, but we think people who are racist are ridiculous and great subjects to ridicule, hence my use of the word "ridiculous." I guess you should listen more closely. I guess I should have posted this somewhere else.
