| Hey, nothing personal meant at all. I understand that some people can take things the wrong way, that's why we have the song down now and have a couple other tunes to replace it. If I was using a halfway decent computer that was made in the last decade I would load some pictures up. In fact, I might try to do it anyway. Computer.....prepare to crash! |

| In fact, here's a new Christmas song written and performed by ourselves and our friends in Super Nice Bros. We'll be playing it together for a special Christmas celebration at the Cell Block in Mobile next Saturday night. It's called "Santa's Eyes" and it's a about a man who remembers growing up fearing Santa because he saw him one Christmas Eve. It's a little jab at Hall and Oates as well. http://mp3download.myspace.com/music...37005_b70d5717 Last edited by Willison99; 12-16-2006 at 06:43 PM. |

Where am I going with this OH Yeah, its a love for your craft and to be luck enough to enjoy the crowd having fun and enjoying the groove your doing on stage is what makes this worth it. I am 44 years old and while I live in CT a few years ago I was hard core into White Zombie, Godsmack, Bush and we did mostly that styled music and I was in the groove then. I was like damn there are people out there half my age having fun with my playing. We were doing a Rage in the Machine set and there was this huge crowd in front of us while we were doing Bulls on Parade and it was just great to see that. Then you get those poor drunk souls playing air guitar in front of you, many thats so cool. But I have also expirenced loads of bad gigs also, and some the night just seemed to draaaaaaaaag on. We did a benefit show in the Bay for Hope Home or something like that at Little Donna's and it was the gig from hell. To make it worse my keyboard player left his phone on the keyboard, and it rang during the middle of a set, to make matters worse it come through the PA and then he was talking to someone over the phone which was being picked up by his mic. Too bad they consider murder even under these terms against the law. My band in CT, Smoke and Mirrors; we kicked ass big time and made between 750 to a grand a night, and we were one of the better bands up there, what happened? Oh it was a little run in with the law and the lead singer go picked up New years Night at a DWI Check point with enough pot to also have "Intent to sell" added to the DWI and other charges. After he got out of jail it was not the same, we gave up. Another band I had the drummer who was high on Coke, show up also ready high without his drummers seat; thats was a night to remember. So I do this to have fun, with the new year coming I am going to start hanging out at theopen jams in our area; hopefully get to know more of you. Hell before I moved away in 82 I had played at the Pines Club near stone county line, the Upstairs/Downstairs Club and loads of more clubs I can't remember. I do this for the fun of it, and if I can cover some expenses to buy more toys then its worth it............... ![]() | |
